So, once again, a bunch of ill-prepared foreigners arrive using force towards unclear goals but appropriate the best land. How dare they fight back.

2. chuckle at blogs speculating in to my philosophical motives for doing so
| | 3. | fatman: | Also, couldn't you argue that since, what, 70-80% of the population is Shiite, that they viewed Saddam as an outsider as well? Vietnam was at war with France and before that China before us...pretty much the same deal with Iraq save the globally recognized "nations."
Point being, situations like this are NEVER solved militarily. Apparently we are still learning that lesson but eventually we will have to adapt if we are to survive as the U.S.A. as we know it.
